EMS201 Introduction to Paramedic

This course introduces the foundations of paramedic practice. Topics include the Roles and Responsibilities of the Paramedic, EMS系统, Workforce Safety and Wellness, EMS研究, the Role of EMS in Public Health, Medical Legal issues, Medical Ethics, Communication Principles and Documentation. Upon completion the student will be able to integrate comprehensive knowledge of EMS systEMS, the safety and well-being of the paramedic, medical legal and ethical issues, the role of EMS in public health and apply sound communication and documentation principles which are intended to improve the health of EMS personnel, 病人, and the community.
