NUR542 Policy, Politics, and Advocacy in Healthcare

This course focuses on the exploration of social change theories and the role of technology as well as frameworks for community and political engagement, 宣传, and empowerment. Emphasis will be placed on the roles of key stakeholders who influence healthcare policy to include government, 消费者, providers and payers. 学生 will examine general micro and macro issues, regulatory processes and quality control and policy making at various levels of government.
